In the article entitled “Muir Torre Syndrome - An Indian Case report?” published in the Volume 6, Issue 2, May-Aug 2021 issue of International Journal of Molecular and Immuno Oncology,[1] we would like to bring to your attention an error.

In the original genetic variant identified in the patient is a heterozygous NM_000249.4:c.793C>T (p.Arg265Cys) variant in exon 10 of MLH1 only and not PMS2. The published article, however, wrongly mentions that the variant has been identified in both MLH1 & PMS2 gene.

The sentence to be read correctly as under

“A heterozygous NM_000249.4:c.793C>T (p.Arg265Cys) variant was identified in exon 10 of MLH1 gene”
